Introducing the PHTRI Podcast
One of the ways we are shining a light on the challenges we face, and new opportunities for meaningful change is through this podcast series. Each episode features conversations with different guests working across public health, exploring their career journeys and areas of expertise, with a particular focus on race, health inequalities, and improving health outcomes. We hope these discussions inform, inspire, and support both new and ongoing action to prevent the further widening of health inequalities across London’s communities.
You can access it here or via Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music.
Blogs
There are many ways in which culture, deprivation, and racial discrimination shape people’s health outcomes. These issues are often complex and deeply embedded, and at times can feel overwhelming in their scale and persistence.
Through this series of blog posts, we bring together public health professionals to address these challenges one topic at a time. By unpacking misconceptions, exploring nuance, and sharing practical insights, the series aims to highlight clear and actionable approaches to tackling inequality and improving health outcomes.
