Anti-Racist Interventions to Reduce Ethnic Disparities in Healthcare in the UK: An Umbrella Review and Findings from Healthcare, Education, and Criminal Justice

This umbrella review, published in BMJ Open in February 2024, synthesises evidence from systematic and scoping reviews (2000–November 2023) to assess the effectiveness of anti-racist interventions aimed at reducing ethnic health disparities in the UK. Amid rising awareness of racial health disparities, the authors examined healthcare organisations' initiatives against racism, spotlighting efforts in diversity, leadership and continual evaluation for enduring impact.
